What made the guy with autism cry on his birthday? Watch the touching video to find out…

What was the reason of Morgan’s happiness? Morgan Roseberry was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3, and he has sought comfort and companionship in the family pet, a cat named Tabby. Following her death, Morgan’s family surprised him with a new present for his 18th birthday. His enthusiasm at receiving a new kitten was palpable, so that he instantly began to yell out in delight.

People frequently underestimate the difficulties associated with living with autism. Being able to communicate with oneself emotionally is one of the most crucial abilities to have in today’s world. People with autism spectrum disorders have difficulty with this and require assistance from other people, an item, or an animal.

Many people suffering from diseases such as dementia and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) have found themselves reliant on their animal friends for protection and comfort. It should come as no surprise that animals can assist individuals with such challenges, given the fact that companion pets and guiding dogs are still in use today.

An autism awareness charity group recently posted a video in which the impacts of an animal on a person with autism were shown.

Morgan Roseberry, an 18-year-old man with autism, was shown in that video. Almost ten years he had a family pet, a cat called Tabby, and this two had developed a strong emotional attachment to one another. Boy’s mom described with the following statement about their relationship:

‘Tabby proved to be an uncritical and nonjudgmental buddy for Morgan. She was apprehensive and reclusive when she first arrived, but over a short length of time, she blossomed into a caring and attentive companion, particularly with Morgan.’

The tragic news came in September of this year that his cherished buddy had died.

Morgan was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) when he was only three years old. His mother provided the following information about his condition:

‘His ability to have a back-and-forth dialogue was limited. After undergoing thorough testing, he was determined to have Asperger’s Syndrome, which is a disorder that falls within the autistic spectrum.’

Asperger’s Syndrome is a neurological disorder in which the person has enhanced social and cognitive skills. Behavior lessons and treatment may assist a person with autism in leading a more fulfilling life despite the fact that he or she may be socially uncomfortable and find it difficult to communicate properly. This kind of autism is typically considered uncommon, with fewer than 200,000 instances reported each year.

Morgan, on his 18th birthday, was pleasantly surprised with a beautiful gift. Fortunately, his family went to a neighboring rescue shelter and found him a new friend who he could grow to love and appreciate.

‘His two elder sisters went to the rescue location the morning of the celebration to choose the most acceptable partner for him. It wasn’t long before they selected the right young girl and transported her to his older sister’s home where she could relax and await the big surprise,’ Cyndi shared her thoughts.

Morgan’s excitement about his new present is captured in the video. In the beginning, he is given cat supplies and snacks before the cat, which causes some people to be suspicious about his final present. He inquires as to if his most recent present is a cat, to which he is handed a package containing his fresh new companion.

Morgan’s eyes well up with tears as he takes his new pet close to him and cradles it in his arms. He name the kitten Vitani since it was the name of one of his favorite characters from the movie ‘The Lion King.’

The family maintains that they had no expectation that the video would get the number of views that it had. They find it quite pleasing that so many people enjoyed themselves while viewing it. While they hope that it will bring a smile to the faces of those who see it, the family also hopes that it will increase awareness about autism among those who do not know what it is.
