Is it possible that country music sensation Reba McEntire has finally met her “Forever Love”? That certainly appears to be the case. She divorced Narvel Blackstock, her spouse of 26 years, in 2015, and she’s been spending a lot of time with her current partner.
During an interview with Country Living, Reba McEntire opened all about her current romance. On a trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in 2017, the country crooner met Anthony Lasuzzo, commonly known as Skeeter, and struck up a friendship. Lasuzzo is a gifted wildlife photographer who also happens to be a retired businessman.
Kix Brooks (of Brooks & Dunn) and his wife, Barbara, were responsible for introducing the couple. Having planned for Skeeter to show Reba about, Kix and Barbara were delighted to see that the two were instantly friends. After a month, they began dating each other.
Reba frequently pays tribute to Skeeter on her Instagram account, where she posts photographs from their numerous trips together. The couple has been to Iceland, Africa, and Rome among other places. Currently, they are considering taking a trip to New Zealand.
When Reba and Skeeter come to visit the Kiwis, we’re confident they’ll get in a lot of hiking. Reba just shared a gorgeous photo of the couple in front of a snow-covered mountain top with her Instagram followers. Despite her best efforts, she couldn’t help but brag about how they had hiked more than 24 miles in four days.
The company of Skeeter is always there, whether it’s a romantic supper by the fireside or an event with hundreds of people under the skies.
Reba may be living her greatest life right now, but the singer’s journey hasn’t always been easy. Reba’s divorce from Narvel was painful, and the negative media surrounding it took its toll on her. As if things couldn’t get any worse, Narvel was romantically involved with Laura Putty Stroud, who happened to be a close friend of Reba.
Narvel and Reba are the parents of one son, Shelby Steven McEntire Blackstock. Aside from that, Reba is quite close to her three ex-stepchildren, whom she refers to as their children. In fact, one of her stepsons married a country singer, following in his father’s footsteps. Kelly Clarkson is the wife of Brandon Blackstock.
You only have to listen to Reba McEntire’s latest album to know that she has finally found happiness. The album “Stronger Than the Truth” is a collection of lively anthems and country ballads that depict the story of a soul at peace with its surroundings. Maybe it’s because she’s finally in control of her career after divorcing Narvel, or it’s because Skeeter has done something amazing with her new attitude.
