Entering a dance school run by a well-known professional choreographer can be stressful for some, since you’ll need a basic sense of rhythm and the ability to blast out some moves.
But for choreographer Phil Wright, it’s all about having a good time and being able to teach anyone, regardless of age or experience.
For years, the skilled dancer has been extremely popular on internet channels, since his inclusive ‘jam sessions,’ as he likes to call them, have a habit of becoming viral, and for good reason.
He’s also the founder of The Parent Jam, a dance event that brings together parents and their children.
If you can’t find him in his Los Angeles dance studio, he’s undoubtedly traveling the world to promote his love of dance. His primary goal is to motivate and inspire others while also uniting people through his dance courses.
In his most recent open dancing class, he created a choreography for DJ Khaled’s single ‘To The Max.’
The song features Canadian rapper Drake, and it has gone gold in the United States, with over 500,000 sales and many Top 100 positions on international music charts.
The dance lessons are often packed with active people who love to bust out a couple of steps, as you can see in the video. Even if perfection isn’t important and it’s just about having fun, you can tell they put a lot of effort into this.
As you can see from the image,
One of the dancers falls when the tempo lowers a few seconds into the song.
Given Phil’s track record, it should come as no surprise that the choreography is flawless. More importantly, it works with all of the dancers since some of them are given specific moves that better suit their personalities or dancing styles.
All of the routines were uploaded to YouTube, where over four million people have already watched them.
Phil’s philosophy and open dance classes have garnered a lot of praise in the comments, and the granddaughter and grandfather duo have also gotten a lot of attention.
‘I was charmed by the granddaughter-grandfather duo!! I can only imagine his delight at being a part of it!’ Jamie Presto spoke up.
One thing is certain: all of these dance teams are putting their all into DJ Khaled’s song.
