Kate Middleton is in a ‘sad situation’ since her children would never have the opportunity to fly like Harry’s son.

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is the delighted mother of three children, and although enjoying a life fit for a princess, she has faced the same pregnancy and birthing struggles as any other mother.

In 2017, the future Queen spoke to a group of women about how solitary the parenting experience can be – an experience she has personally experienced.

According to Self.com, Middleton addressed the gathering, ‘Yes, it is lonely at times, and you do feel pretty alone, but honestly, so many other mothers are going through precisely what you are going through.’

While it is customary for moms in the United Kingdom to leave the hospital just hours after giving birth if they are healthy, Middleton had her own reasons for leaving the hospital so soon following the birth of her children.

Fans would camp outside the Lindo Wing for weeks whenever she was there, causing complete chaos and disruption to other new mothers. It was thoughtful of her to return home, where she and her baby would have immediate assistance.

THE KIDS OF HARRY AND MEGHAN ENJOY A NORMAL CHILDHOOD

When Harry and Meghan retired from royal duties in 2020, they may not have realized they were paving a new route for their children, one free of royal responsibilities and conventions.

Their children have taken a different path and grown up in normal circumstances since their highly publicized transfer to the United States. Archie already wants to be an astronaut or a helicopter pilot when he grows up, according to Harry.

Harry can also freely celebrate his children’s achievements, such as when Lilibet took her first steps a few days ago. The father of two couldn’t be happier and told People about the fascinating moment:

‘Her top priority right now is keeping up with her brother; she just took her first step a few days ago! Here’s a proud papa.’

Lilibet has yet to meet the Queen and other royal members, as her name was inspired by her great grandmother’s family moniker. During her journey to the United States, she did meet Princess Eugenie, who paid a visit to Harry and Meghan at their house in Montecito.

Harry’s children’s milestones include Lilibet’s first steps. In 2021, Harry celebrated Archie’s first words, which were ‘grandma” in addition to ‘mama’ and ‘papa.’ However, for Harry, the occasion was bittersweet because his mother, Princess Diana, would never see her grandchildren.

To give their kids a routine, Harry and Meghan enrolled Archie in kindergarten in January, where a fellow parent claims he has blended in nicely with the other students and is now “one of them.’

Unlike Prince George’s Mynors’ Nursery School, Archie’s school places a strong emphasis on mental health and the environment, as evidenced by the gardens full of fruits, trees, butterflies, wasps, and birds.

Apart from sending their son to conventional school, Harry and Meghan are adamant about their children’s privacy. When they realized that paparazzi were flying drones and helicopters within feet of their home to photograph their son, they were prepared to sue.

A STRESSFUL CONFLICT

While Harry and Meghan have managed to “escape” the obligations and duties of being royals, Middleton’s children cannot. With so many working royals in their golden years, the Cambridge children must shoulder the load of the future monarchy.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Loui will have to carry the burden of securing the monarchy’s survival whether they want it or not.

Unlike Harry, who was overjoyed when his son announced he wanted to be a pilot when he grew up, Middleton does not have the luxury of hearing her children’s ambitions because the entire country is focused on the three.

Despite the Cambridges’ best efforts to provide a normal childhood for their children, including completing school runs and taking them to the store with her, it is apparent that they will face a reality they did not select.

They will be expected to assume the monarchy’s duties, responsibilities, and protocols once they reach adulthood. Even at such a young age, kids are being prepared for their destinies and have little opportunity of wishing to be anything other than royals. In the words of royal expert Daniela Elser:

‘It must hurt Kate to realize that while other children gaze into the future with wonder, her children’s pathways appear to be set in Portland stone.’

TODAY’S LIVES OF THE CAMBRIDGE KIDS

Princess Charlotte is not only being groomed for future royal duties, but she is also following in the footsteps of her grandmother and great-grandmother.

Though she looks like her great-grandmother, The Queen, on the outside, her attitude is more like her late grandmother, Princess Diana. According to Marie Claire, body language expert Judi James said:

‘She, like Diana, gives the idea of timidity at first, but she has an outgoing, entertaining personality below. She also used her eyes to pick out some of the cameras, as Diana often did.’

Charlotte’s cheerful nature is so apparent that she was photographed beaming and exchanging grins with her older brother during the mourning service for her great grandfather, Prince Philip.

It’s worth noting, though, that Charlotte only received the title Princess after the Queen intervened. Charlotte was not eligible for the title of Princess or Her Royal Highness under the King George V convention (HRH).

According to royal historian Marlene Koenig, when Kate was expecting her first child, the Queen acted by issuing a Letters Patent ensuring that all Cambridge children would be known as a Prince or Princess.

Middleton and William are well aware that George is still a long way from assuming the throne, and as much as they would like for him to have a normal childhood, they are not delaying the preparations for him to one day govern the monarchy.

They’ve taken on the task of shaping him into a kind, compassionate, generous, and intellectually curious guy. They also ensure that, despite having all of life’s comforts at his disposal, he remains grounded and unspoiled.

While the Cambridges originally avoided talking about George’s ‘future royal duties and duty,’ a royal author revealed that they did teach him about his future role as King of England “around his seventh birthday.’

When George grumbled about picking up litter at school every day, unsure where it originated from, William shared his concerns about his children. He revealed:

‘He couldn’t comprehend. ‘Well, we cleaned this,’ he says. Why hasn’t it vanished?’

While Charlotte and Loui are still too little to comprehend the impact of the resources they consume on the environment, William believes they are starting to realize that these issues are important, and he ‘did not want to put that responsibility on them.’
