Every parent hopes that their older children will help them in caring for their younger siblings. Some people are granted this wish. There are also those who must calm each child in effort to stop fights. Erin, a.k.a. Mama Bear Bliss, is incredibly fortunate to have Declan as her eldest kid.

Declan is a six-year-old girl. Norah, who is three years old, and Emmy, who is one year old, are her younger siblings. She loves her younger sisters as well. Erin and her husband, Bryce, are extremely fortunate in that they can always trust on Declan to calm down her sisters.

Declan came over to calm Erin’s younger daughter, Emmy, who was crying on the sofa in this viral video. She calmed Emmy by holding her in her arms and touching her cheeks.

In a video interview with Good Morning America, Erin said, ‘I went to get up to go aid her and calm  her since she was the first one over there.’ ‘She looked at me and said, ‘No, Mom, I got this.” Erin kept an eye on Declan while softly stroking Emmy’s cheek to wipe her tears away.

She watched as Emmy’s breathing slowed as the two sisters locked gazes. ‘Just the way she was caring for her baby sister, the things she was doing and saying, and her demeanor were so soft-spoken,’ Erin continued.

‘She had that tolerance and kindness instinct.’ And instead of catching her tiny sister’s feelings, she hung on to her own feelings of comfort. And I was incredibly proud of her for it.’

Declan was turned on by the camera, and she answered genuinely. ‘I know that’s a lot of work for Mom,’ Declan explained, ‘so I simply help them when they need it, like with the baby sisters.’

The audience was blown away by Erin and Declan.
‘With everything that is wrong in the world, this gives me hope!’ What a lovely and adorable little girl she is. Mom, you’re doing a fantastic job with your kids!’ Kimberly K expressed her thoughts.

‘What a lovely, sweet little girl, and what a beautiful mother!’ Her kind, nurturing heart has definitely been passed down to her kid. Hilarie Calijo added, ‘I love this.’

Erin is only 28 years old, and she had no intention of marrying . ‘I always had a blueprint ingrained in my head as my life plan: after graduation, I’d climb the corporate ladder, purchase a house, marry before 30, and have kids a few years later,’ Erin wrote on Instagram.

‘It’s a miracle that blueprint was written in pencil.’ It was happily eradicated swiftly and easily. And if I had to do it all over again, I’d follow the same exact journey, at the same exact time, as these little girls beside me.’
