Jon Bon Jovi has always been certain of his unwavering love for Dorothea Hurley. That is why, despite receiving advice years ago not to, he never hesitated to wed her.

In 1980, Hurley and Bon Jovi first crossed paths in a high school history class. At the time, they had just turned 18.
According to Fame10, he stated, ‘It started with just trying to peer over her shoulder at exam answers, to making small chat.’ The two eventually came to understand their love for one another and started dating.
In 1989, Bon Jovi’s band had both the top-charting album and song, and his career was booming. Hurley was in the hotel room at this moment when he suddenly offered that they leave.
According to Best Life, he remembered, ‘I pulled the curtain back in my room, and there’s a billboard of me gazing right back.’
‘I responded, ‘I have an idea,’ as I turned to face Dorothea. Why don’t we leave at once? ‘You’re out of your mind,’ she remarked. Come on, I ordered.

By the time they arrived back home, the artist’s management was enraged with his choice and news of their marriage had spread like wildfire through the headlines. He told Bon Jovi, bursting the newlyweds’ love bubble, that his marriage may perhaps ruin his career.
‘My manager was angry when I returned from Las Vegas. ‘America’s boy is now married?’ he exclaimed. That’s not a wise career decision,’ ‘said the 60-year-old, as reported by Express.
The pair persisted and had faith in their lovely relationship in the face of everyone’s continual criticism.
‘When America learned about the wedding that Monday, they weren’t happy, and many people sought to sabotage a lovely event. They attempted to cheat us of that opportunity,’ added said.
And so, in the midst of skepticism and intrusive rumors, their marriage was born. But Hurley said, ‘Somehow it works.’ ‘We both grow at the same rate, I believe.
