A few days later, she took a parcel to mail back to the family, with a letter that read, ‘I really like your birthday gift.
I greatly appreciate it. Mommy and you are all incredibly loved by Daddy. Here is a gift that I designed especially for you. I hope you approve.’
The bundle also contained three handcrafted Christmas ornaments. ‘They are decorations for a Christmas tree, and I’m giving you a kiss from above. Snowflakes are kisses from heaven. I adore you a lot. Daddy,’ said the letter.
Milan was utterly overjoyed to get the package. Avolia remarked, ‘To witness the pleasure on her face when she received her present from Daddy in heaven was priceless.’
In spite of everything that is happening and as she mourns the loss of her son, Avolia claims that acts of compassion like this offer her hope.
‘I lost faith in humans as a result of what I had to endure. They returned with it. You deserve my gratitude, whomever you are. I appreciate you,’ added Avolia.
