Gwendolyn Stulgis searched through multiple stores before discovering the ideal wedding gown for her big day.

She looked incredibly magnificent in the champagne wedding gown by Allure Bridals, which featured lovely sheer long sleeves, exquisite beading, and lace.

In that bridal dress, which she referred to as ‘the one,’ the soon-to-be bride could picture herself getting married to the love of her life.

There was only one problem: Her dream outfit cost a staggering $3,000! Gwendolyn was aware that the champagne ensemble was far beyond her $1,000 budget, which she had originally set out for her wedding dress. But she cherished it too much to give it up.

‘It was everything I had ever desired, so I started crying as I looked at it. I doubt that I could have imagined myself in any other scenario. It was specifically designed for me, ‘She spoke to Insider.

The bride looked stunning as she walked down the aisle and exchanged vows with her husband Frank on May 6, 2022, proving that it was a wise choice.

Following the ceremony, Gwendolyn hung her dress in the closet like most brides do, but a few days later she realized that the lovely gown wasn’t much use to her—or anybody else—stored away.

She made the decision to give it away to another bride who could wear it in an effort to give it a second chance.

‘I desire for someone else to experience the same sense of beauty that I did on my wedding day. I want the other to believe they are valuable.

I want them to be able to purchase the dress of their dreams without having to stress about it. A bridal gown shouldn’t be simply stored in a closet,’ She spoke out.

Gwendolyn posted on Facebook that she wanted to donate her wedding dress over two weeks after getting married. ‘I have therefore decided to donate my wedding dress after giving it great thought.

If she can’t afford one or settles for something more affordable, I want it to go to a woman who deserves to have the dress of her dreams. I felt really stunning in it, and I wanted other people to feel the same’ She composed.

‘I need the bride-to-be to briefly explain why she deserves the dress so that I can choose who gets to wear it.

Alycia Ashley, Hyde’s future sister-in-law, had surreptitiously made a request days before the prospective bride-to-be did.

‘Margaret is a very remarkable lady. She is the kind of lady who will offer you her entire wardrobe as a gift.

She constantly takes the initiative to give’ Asley indicated that Hyde was considering making a request but had been holding off.

When Hyde found out she had won the dress, she exclaimed, ‘I was in absolute disbelief; I felt incredibly loved. ‘I don’t typically wear dresses since I’m a basic lady who typically wears jeans and t-shirts.

I’m anticipating living vicariously through a princess for a day’ Hyde said, adding that prior to viewing Stulgis’ article, she had intended to make her own wedding dress. She now intends to decline the dress in observance of Gwendolyn’s desires.

Since then, many couples have been motivated by Gwendolyn’s tale to donate their wedding gowns to other brides who can’t afford one.

In order to assist ladies in finding not just their dream dress but also shoes, accessories, bridesmaid gowns, and mother-of-the-bride dresses, she has also established the Facebook community Shared Dream Dresses.
