After the death of his previous owner, this bird became sad and restless, look what his new owner did to make him happy

When Audrey the Cockatoo’s original owner died, she experienced intense grief and stopped singing in addition to pulling out her feathers.

Misha Sitova happened to run into Audrey and the owner’s 88-year-old wife one day when he was out working.

She described to him Audrey’s sadness, the death of her husband, and how, at the age of 15, Audrey had torn out all of her feathers in desperation.

Audrey must have had a positive image of Misha since the bird flew into his arms the next time they ran into each other.

It was obvious that Audrey and him clicked. Pat, the widow, asked if Misha and his wife Kristin would save the baby bird.

Audrey would take a few weeks to warm up to Kristin, but she fell in love with Misha right away and would follow him around the home. The pair learned that Audrey enjoyed to dance as they gained Audrey’s trust.

When the music is playing and they are dancing, Audrey enjoys copying Misha’s motions. On YouTube, Kristin related how they discovered how much Audrey loved music when the song “Old Town Road” played in their kitchen one day.

Audrey began to sing and dance. Pat, who we showed the video to, was as startled as we were to learn that Audrey enjoys jamming, Kristen wrote.

Kristin claims that Audrey ‘surprises us daily with new whistles, words, and dancing moves’ after three months of sharing a home with the cockatoo.

She is particularly interested in studying choreography, as seen in this Misha video. All of her feathers are regrowing, too!

They discovered that although Audrey loved to sing, it took her some time to rediscover her voice.

Though she did! Since Audrey has been living with Misha and Kristin for a while, the bird has never been happier.

Audrey is dancing not only with Misha but also with her family’s three dogs, one cat, and one wallaby since her heart and home are now completely full.
