For parents-to-be, photographs of a woman expecting a baby and the entire pregnancy are a great way to capture the joy and excitement of getting ready to start a new life.
For the rest of their lives, the couple will leaf through the album with these photos and remember the unforgettable time when they were looking forward to the birth of their adored child.
And while every photo of a pregnant woman is beautiful in its own way, some are more memorable than others…
Future father, 30-year-old Dan Moser, decided to go with his pregnant wife to the Atlantic coast in Jacksonville, Florida, in order to take some beautiful pictures.
Local residents have long chosen this beach, which is a popular place for recreation, walks and beautiful shots.
Feeling inspired, Dan asked his wife Angelina to pose for him with the ocean in the background. He took out his camera and took some pictures.
With a smile on her face, Angelina stood closer to the ocean waves, showing off her big belly. But when Dan saw what was in the background of one of the photos, he immediately realized that he had taken an incredible shot …
So what did he see behind Angelina? The dolphin that jumped out of the water the moment Dan snapped the shutter of his camera!
Dan knew that dolphins lived in this region of the ocean, so what he saw was not a complete surprise to him. However, he did not even hope to capture the jump of an aquatic mammal in front of his pregnant wife.
‘When I took the picture, I thought: ‘Oh my God! What a shot! Too bad the wife didn’t see it,’ Dan told AWM.
Dan and Angelina attribute the appearance of the dolphin in the photo to their son, Cortland, who was born on January 27th. The couple joke that the baby called the dolphin from his mother’s belly.
Here’s how Dan explains on Yahoo the emergence of this unique photo: ‘Someone yelled at us that there were dolphins here and we saw their dorsal fins. And then, literally out of nowhere, this handsome man jumped out of the water.’
Perhaps the dolphin knew what was happening? ‘Actually, the dolphin jumped out twice, but I liked the first shot the most,’ Dan said.
Catching some mysterious connection between Cortland, who was still unborn at that time, and a dolphin, some even suggested that Angelina and Dan name the boy Finn (by analogy with the English dolphin – a dolphin). To which Dan replied that he and Angelina were not going to change the name chosen for the child.
