The idea that he has been gone for that long is quite hard to accept because nobody ever truly forgot who he was.

Lisa Marie Presley was born on February 1st, 1968 to Priscilla Beaulieu Presley. Lisa Marie has experienced a rather good existence with her parents, despite the fact that Elvis and Priscilla did not remain together for a very long period.

She used to reside in Memphis, Tennessee, at her father’s house. Lisa Marie was present the night before the King of Rock and Roll passed away.

The King was reportedly playing racketball with his then-fiancée Ginger Alden, according to a report by Express UK at the time.

On that critical day, they were playing with their cousin Billy Smith and his wife Jo. After the game, Elvis sat at the piano and sang ‘Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain’ in the downstairs lounge area. Also performed was the well-known ‘Unchained Melody.’

Nobody realized that these two songs were the final ones the King would ever play or sing. Angie Marchese, an archivist, remembered what Elvis did next.

He eventually left this structure and returned to the mansion, entering through the Jungle Room door, she said.

As Lisa was just beginning her day, he introduced himself to her and stated he was going upstairs to get some rest. Elvis unfortunately went away on that afternoon.

Lisa Marie, who was nine at the time, recalls that she was able to kiss her father good night before he died away on that particular day.

In the morning, she was scheduled to sleep, but she changed her mind and went to see her father.

Actually, I was meant to be asleep. Go to bed, he said me when he found me. I gave the go. Lisa Marie thought back.

‘I believe he kissed me once more before I left. After that, he entered and kissed me goodnight. I last saw him there when he was still living.’

Ginger discovered the dead King on the toilet door at 1:30 that afternoon. Like the rest of the world, Lisa Marie will never forget that awful day.

Despite the passage of 45 years since that time, the memory and legacy of the King of Rock and Roll endure. View the video below to see the King from his own daughter’s eyes.
