This couple lost their wedding ring and did their best to find it…What the stranger did would surprise you

The exquisite wedding ring that Francesca Teal feared she would never see again was saved by a compassionate stranger.

On August 6 at Hampton, New Hampshire’s North Beach, the Massachusetts woman, 29, was participating in a football game with her husband, Austin.

She claimed that the ring dropped into the waist-deep water after slipping off her fingers. According to Teal, ‘my heart fell at that very instant.’

The pair made every effort to find the ring, which was not a typical piece of jewelry, but they were unsuccessful.

Her great-grandmother, who fused her wedding band and engagement ring together, was the true owner of the white gold and diamond ring.

As a result, Teal was driven to locate it because it was so valuable. She posted in a Facebook group for Hampton Beach to share her experience with ‘anyone who might have a metal detector’ who ‘frequents’ the area.

Before Lou Asci, a fan of metal detecting, discovered the post, it had been shared ‘thousands of times.’ A 60-year-old resident of Marshfield was one of many who offered to assist with the hunt.

Asci immediately started looking, but it was fruitless. He didn’t give up and went back a second time, but this time he left empty-handed.

On August 14, Asci, who was still unwilling to give up, made the decision to give it ‘one last try.’ I don’t handle failure very well,’ he admitted.

He ‘decided to go out deeper’ than he thought the ring would be on his third expedition, and sure enough, he discovered it buried in four inches of sand.

Asci contacted Teal after discovering the ring and emailed her a picture of the jewelry. Asci wrote to her, ‘Please tell me this is the ring so I can finally go off this beach.’ ‘I resisted giving up on it. She placed a lot of importance on this ‘ inserted Asci.

Teal publicly thanked Asci and the Hampton Beach Residents & Friends Facebook page for their persistent efforts in finding her family ring after being reunited with it.

While looking for Teal’s ring, Asci apparently came upon another possibility to assist in the reunion of a lost person with their ring.

‘Please PM me with a description if you or someone you know lost a men’s wedding ring in the sea off 18th St.

He posted a picture of it and the statement, ‘I would love to return it to the owner,’ on the Hampton Beach Facebook group.
