The best response was given by Sharon Stone (64) to an ex-partner who dumped her because she refused to get botox.

Sharon Stone is an actress who has been considered a sex icon in Hollywood since the 1990s.

The actress has been famous for her breathtaking good looks for a number of years now. Now that she is 64 years old, she is speaking publicly about how she is coming to terms with her age; however, it appears that not everyone is on board with this concept.

After suffering a stroke and a nine-day brain hemorrhage in 2001, Stone is no longer a fan of undergoing cosmetic procedures.

‘I was in an ICU for nine days and the survival rate for what I went through is very low. I don’t need someone to make me feel bad about growing older,’ she stated in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2014.

‘I don’t need someone to make me feel bad about growing older.’ She divulged that ‘the key to looking good as you get older is, it all comes from the within, and you have to do what you enjoy to do’ as the advice for maintaining a youthful appearance as one gets older.

The actress from ‘Sliver’ expressed her belief to Vogue Arabia that ‘women become invisible after we become moms and you’re 45 and people walk by you like you’re not there.’

She said this in reference to her own experience. When asked about her use of Botox, she revealed that ‘there were periods in the super fame when I got Botox and filler and stuff.

And then I had this massive stroke and a nine-day brain hemorrhage and I had to have over 300 shots of Botox and filler to make the one side of my face come up again,’ she explained.

‘Life does not always make you feel like a winner as you get older.’ The procedure went from being a ‘cute luxury to some kind of enormous, excruciating neurological necessity’ once the patient underwent it.

After that, the Basic Instinct actress made up her mind to stay far away from the treatment at all costs.

In more recent times, though, when she was seeing a younger man, she was taken aback by a comment he made regarding her advancing years.

She simply clapped back and said, ‘It would probably be really good for both of our egos if I did,’in response to her former partner’s question about whether or not she was getting work done.

She then continued by saying, ‘I saw him one more time after that, and after that he wasn’t interested in seeing me anymore.’

It turned out that the relationship was doomed from the beginning, since the individual warned the other that they would leave if they did not see them for longer than that.

But Stone is unconcerned about it. She stated that at the age of 64, ‘this is the most exciting and creative moment of my life,’ adding that she feels ‘truly, very happy.’ I’ve never been happier than I am right now.’
