British-based gospel choir The Kingdom Choir’s superb vocals come straight from the capital city.
The choir became famous when they sang at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, where they stunned people across the world.

Concerning the Kingdom Choir
Choir founder, director, and major workshop leader Karen Gibson led the group to record their debut album in 2018.
The British press dubbed Karen ‘Britain’s godmother in gospel.’ British Airways posted a video to their official YouTube page showing the choir performing on board one of their planes.
For more than 20 years, the choir has been entertaining audiences, but their biggest break came when they were asked to sing at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.
They sang a gospel version of Ben E. King’s ‘Stand by Me’ that was so moving that it topped the US Hot Gospel Songs charts, prompting Sony Music to give them a record deal, which they gladly accepted.
Here’s video of the unforgettable performance the choir gave during the Royal Wedding.
The choir’s perfect singing and beautiful arrangements have earned them invitations to play at a number of prestigious events.
The band still posts their original songs and recordings to their various online platforms. Since its 2018 launch, their YouTube channel has racked up more than 4 million views.
Large publications and companies like the BBC and British Airways have helped drive a lot of traffic to the group’s videos, resulting in a massive increase in views.
