Mikhail Zaikov is a talented Russian sculptor who creates unique doll sculptures. His work simply amazes with its realism and uniqueness.

Even at a very close distance, his works seem quite alive.

Mikhail created his first dolls in 2010, and already in 2013 he became widely known among those who appreciate his talent.

All works of the sculptor are presented in the style of hyperrealism.

For his creations, Zaykov uses polymer clay and joint mechanisms, which the craftsman places on the joints, so that the dolls are mobile and can assume any human position.

The author is inspired by retro characters and creates his works based on them. Most of the creation of the sculptor’s figures is based on the figures of teenage girls aged 13-16.

Dolls do not exceed 75 cm in height. It takes Mikhail almost a month to create such a human figure.

He uses only high-quality and expensive materials for his work. For example, the artist orders eyes from glassmakers in Germany and hair from French mohair.

The clothes of these masterpieces are sewn by fashion designer Kuzemina Irina, using styles and fabrics appropriate to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The author designs and creates each mini-sculpture in one copy. The starting price of this beauty starts from 70 thousand dollars.
