At the end of 2019, amateur photographer Elias Hasiotis traveled to Qatar to capture spectacular images of the solar eclipse and he didn’t guess at all.
Elias managed to capture the moment when the sun on the horizon turned into real devil horns
‘I have always been interested in astronomy for as long as I can remember, and over the past 15 years, astrophotography has become my hobby.
I was lucky enough to capture these images in the coastal city of Al Waqre in Qatar on the morning of December 26, 2019, during an annular eclipse.’
The photographer was very careful in choosing the point from which the best view of the eclipse would open.
According to Hartsiotis, he did not see anything terrible in this phenomenon, on the contrary, he was fascinated by what he saw.
‘I have never seen such an amazing sunrise in my life. The only thing I really regret is that I missed the ‘ring of fire’annular eclipse due to the cloud cover.
