The ‘dirtiest man in the world’ died.The incident coincided with bathing

Iranian resident Amu Haji, who was called ‘the dirtiest man in the world’, died in the village of Dejgah in the southern province of Fars, euronews.com reports.

It is said that he was 94 years old and had not bathed for about 70 years. According to the media, Haji was convinced that staying dirty helped him live longer.

In an interview with Tehran Times in 2014, he said that he mostly eats dead animals and especially likes pork.

He drank a lot of water during the day, smoked cigarettes given to him by the villagers, as well as cigarettes filled with dried animal feces. Hair was cut off by the pilgrim by burning it with fire.

Interestingly, the villagers convinced Haji to take a bath a few months ago. Finally succumbing to the pressure and taking a bath, Haji fell ill and died a short time later.
