To increase their chances of a successful pregnancy, six fertilized eggs were implanted into the mother-to-be, and to the doctors’ surprise, they all took root and began to fully develop.

Although Eric and Courtney were a little nervous, they happily accepted the news that they could be parents to multiple babies.

By the way, the doctors immediately warned the couple that carrying so many embryos is extremely difficult for the future mother.

Among the possible risks and pathologies, the doctors mentioned anemia, serious heart strain and even stroke, in addition, the risks of developing pathologies were increasing among newborns.

Despite fears, the parents-to-be opted out of selective reduction, a method in which the number of fetuses is artificially reduced to give the remaining ones a better chance of survival.

Courtney was very afraid for the health of her unborn children and her own children, as she already had three boys, ages eight and five. However, future parents did not dare to interrupt the lives of their babies.

In order to reduce the risks, the woman went for conservation already in the sixth month of pregnancy. She was ordered to spend most of her time lying down so as not to induce premature labor.
