The results of a man playing Mozart’s Turkish March using only calculators are spectacular.

‘Turkish March’ by Mozart played on a calculator Have you ever heard the ‘Turkish March’ by Mozart performed on a calculator?

No, neither had we until we learned that a very talented musician from Japan has provided us with a very unique rendition of the Mozart classic.

The film is captured with a point-of-view camera, concentrating on the player’s fingers as they deftly navigate the numerical keys of the calculators transformed into instruments.

This must be acknowledged as one of the most remarkable performances we have ever witnessed.

The artist whose name on YouTube appears to translate to ‘Atari-me’ or ‘Dried Squid’ has produced a number of films showcasing his keyboard and calculator improvisations.

In May of 2020, he made a video of his interpretation of “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran, which received over 800,000 views.

To say that we are impressed would be an understatement; the talent required to play the calculator-as-keyboard configuration, memorizing each odd note placement and which calculator contains the lower and higher tones and pitches necessary to play each song, is evident.
