Why has Tim Allen never trusted a person as much as his ‘Toy Story’ co-star Tom Hanks? He explains.

There isn’t much that hasn’t been written about the 69-year-old, whether by critics or supporters, considering that he has maintained a position at the top of Hollywood for decades.

Since Tim has worked with so many people over the years, it should go without saying that he has developed friendships with a variety of people.

As a result, his phone book is bound to read like a who’s who of contacts. However, the man asserts that there is one figure in show business whom he trusts beyond all others.

It’s appropriate that he was portrayed by a male in one of the most enduring children’s films ever.

Allen recently discussed his quick connection with the adored Tom Hanks in an interview with Kelly Clarkson.

He and I don’t agree on a lot of topics. I adore the heart and intelligence of that man,” Allen gushed about Hanks.

The A-list couple apparently recently went out and about together, sparking speculation that they may be developing a new movie.

We go to lunch twice a year, and since the first Toy Story, Allen remarked, ‘We’re like two elderly women because we’ll sit almost too close to each other at a booth.’

In fact, Allen noted that Hanks had taken fries off of his co-plate star’s while they were filming Toy Story 1.

Allen acknowledged that he had never experienced it before, especially given that he had grown up in a household where it wasn’t customary to do so.

Regarding his friendship with Hanks, who portrayed Woody to Allen’s Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story film series:

And I doubt I’ve ever trusted a person as much as Tom to even hear what I have to say, and the opposite is also true.

We disagree on a great deal of issues, but he has managed to win me over by being such a nice and interesting person. He is the first man who listens to me without passing judgment.

It makes me feel good to see two such likeable individuals developing such a strong bond, I don’t know about you.

Despite spending so much time at the top of their professions, Hanks and Allen have remained largely controversy-free.

That, in my opinion, speaks more to their moral character than anything else.
