Adam and Danielle Busby, the parents of the single-recorded five American girls, are the stars of the American reality TV program OutDaughtered on TLC.
The show launched on May 10, 2016, and on February 23, 2021, the eighth season of the show debuted.
Episode 75 of the eight-season series, which broadcast on May 4, 2021, marked the show’s end. At 28 weeks gestation, Danielle gave birth to quintuplets by a caesarean section.
Soon after birth, all five of the daughters had heart murmurs, which were all cured with medicine.
Before being able to return home in June and July 2015, the Quints spent the first eight to twelve weeks of their lives in the neonatal intensive care unit at the Texas Women’s Hospital.
Congenital nystagmus, Hazel’s eye disease, was discussed on the program.
Hazel’s ailment causes her to have blurry vision, which causes her to move her eyes erratically and hold her head at an odd angle.
Hazel had eye surgery in 2016 to help her situation. Hazel’s left eye was found to have astigmatism in 2017, which may ultimately explain why it occasionally results in a problem.
In the hopes that her vision would become better as the left eye grew, she was given spectacles to help with her farsightedness.
