The famous singer Paul McCartney told about the emotions he experienced after the death of John Lennon, writes People.
‘I couldn’t just go on TV and say what John means to me. It was extremely deep grief,’the artist recalled.
According to McCartney, he ’couldn’t put into words’ what he experienced after hearing the news of the death of his colleague and close friend.
After some time, the musician decided to record a song dedicated to Lennon. ‘I found a room and sat down on the wooden floor with my guitar and just started playing the opening chords of ‘Here Today,’’ he said.
John Lennon, the lead singer of The Beatles, died on December 8, 1980.
