In 1919, three girls named Dorothy were born in Auburn, Maine.They attended and graduated from the same school.And now, 100 years later, they are celebrating the 100th anniversary of their meeting.

Dorothy Buchanan, Dorothy Kehn, and Dorothy Murray still live in Oberen, two of them even in the same homes that their parents owned.

‘I’m still a child. I don’t consider myself older than 16 years old,’ says Dorothy Kern.Dorothy Kehn graduated from Beistsa College and worked for the student newspaper and then the Lewiston Sun Journal.

Dorothy Buchanan attended business college and was executive secretary of the American Red Cross during World War II.Dorothy Murray has always enjoyed interacting with people.

When three women get together, they always ask each other the same question. ‘How do you feel’: And the answer is always the same: “Good”.
