Meet Sean Swanson and Allie Mancuso, his stunning blonde daughter!
The pair is seen at the start of the video standing in front of four white columns that are right below the point where both sets of steps meet in the air, at the foot of a double staircase.
A smoke machine close to the sound system that is tucked under the stairs is emitting fog. The location is stunning!
They’ve selected a vintage music for their dance. It’s Bob Carlisle’s ‘Butterfly Kisses,’ and it’s wonderful!
They smile and converse. When Allie pats her father on the back, he nods in agreement. The two dance together in a nice, charming way, with a spin, two more, and four in total.
But… When the music abruptly changes at 1:18, we hear a record scratch, and the father and daughter stare in confusion. Unfortunately, they are taunting us and it’s all in the grand scheme!
When Dad takes off his suit, the two start bopping their heads to ‘What is Love’ like Chris Kattan at The Roxbury.
Sean and Allie quickly follow up by dancing to ‘Shake Your Groove Thing,’ ’U Can’t Touch This,’ then tearing it up with a mean Cotton-Eyed Joe! These two are blazing hot!
The robot, ballroom dancing, and a Swanson-Mancuso rendition of ‘Jump On It’ follow. Thankfully, Allie is wearing ballerina flats, which must make all the complicated motions simpler.
She moves quickly despite being covered in several layers of lace, tulle, or satin. Dad is just as spirited, and the two have adorable facial expressions that are so full of personality!
‘Y’all Ready for This,’ Allie speaks the following song/question to the audience at 3:10. Although the song might suggest otherwise,
their dance is undoubtedly out of this planet. Dad soon starts sounding like Tom Jones!
Over the next 70 seconds, this gifted, inventive combo takes us through a half-dozen additional music clips and dancing parts before saying goodbye with NSYNC’s help!
Allie offers Dad the largest, sweetest embrace from the back as he briefly turns away from her. It’s very cute! There are high fives and cheers!
What a fantastic gift they made to one another while working on their personal song, and what a memorable evening they offered to their friends and family! Salutations to Sean and Allie! Good work!
