After Nick Cannon had his twelfth kid, Mariah Carey wants to have primary custody of her twins.

Despite what can only be described as a rocky history, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon don’t seem to be done with each other just yet.

It’s unlikely you’ve been hiding under a rock these past few months and haven’t noticed the name Cannon being bandied about.

This is not because of any particularly groundbreaking amount of work or particularly shocking behavior or statements. It’s not because he has an abnormal desire to procreate.

You read that correctly. Cannon, who is now 42, has 12 children, the eldest of whom was born in 2011. Cannon and Alyssa Scott had their daughter

Halo Marie Cannon in December of last year, a month after Cannon and DJ Abby De La Rosa welcomed their daughter, Beautiful Cannon.

Cannon claims there have been no mishaps in his role as a parent and that he was born to do it. He told People in May of 2022, ’Every day I just wake up excited as a father.’

My entire brood of children makes me ecstatic. Always, in every way possible. From the time they were first-graders receiving ‘citizen of the month’ awards to the arrival of the new ones.

However, he is currently at odds with one of his children’s mothers.Nick’s ex-wife and mother of his first two children, Moroccan and Monroe, Mariah Carey, is currently fighting for sole custody of the kids.

Reportedly, a close friend of the legendary singer informed RadarOnline that Mariah is not thrilled with Cannon’s propensity for having children.

Although a custody agreement between the exes has been in place since their 2014 divorce, Carey is attempting to modify it.

Monroe and Moroccan are typically with Mariah anyhow, the person said. The pair is rarely in Nick’s presence.

According to the same source, Mariah isn’t trying to get back at Cannon or punish him in any way; she’s just trying to send him a friendly reminder.

She wants him to know that he can’t ‘flit in and out of their lives while he caters to his other children,’ a source claimed. And she’s looking for recognition as the twins’ principal caretaker in the law.

Whatever the future holds, I believe it is crucial that the children’s best interests be prioritized at all times.

If it wasn’t already tough enough to have parents who are known all over the world, then I’m sure having renowned parents who are at odds with one another would be a real challenge.
