Teddy Hobbs is unlike any other 4-year-old you’re likely to meet, as the clip makes very evident. He is very,
very intelligent.A significant accomplishment for most kids is being able to tie their shoes and count to 10.
Teddy is able to count from 1 to 100 in seven different languages. Oh, and by the time he was 2 years old, he could count to 100.
The video claims that Teddy has already been accepted into MENSA, an organization that honors people with advanced intelligence.
In the UK, Teddy is the organization’s youngest member. At the age of barely 3 years, 7 months, he was added to MENSA.
However, you would be mistaken if you assumed Teddy’s outstanding intelligence was the result of his controlling and demanding parents.
Teddy’s mother, Beth Hobbs, claimed that he had accomplished everything by himself. ‘When we take him out and let him choose a treat, he prefers a book to chocolate.’
The video, which depicts a toddler Teddy using an abacus and sitting at a computer, claims that Teddy taught himself to read.
Teddy possesses a degree of intelligence uncommon for a person his age. Let’s hope and pray that during Teddy’s formative years, his gifts would be appropriately nourished and developed.
