Officer gets note from nine-year-old boy, reads it, and gets up from his seat.

When Noah and his mother, Amanda, went to Denny’s one morning for breakfast, they thought it would be a typical meal.

They were unaware that they would spot a police officer in the eatery and that Noah would come up with an excellent plan to thank him for his service.

Noah asked his mother if they could pay for his dinner as soon as he noticed the police officer eating across the table.

Noah had money left over from his birthday that he intended to spend to buy the officer breakfast.

Naturally, Amanda was delighted to give Noah consent to purchase the officer’s meal. She was thrilled that her kid would even make such a noble suggestion.

Noah wanted to add a note to the bill in addition to purchasing the officer’s supper because it wasn’t nearly enough for him.

See what Noah wanted to say to the officer in detail, along with how the neighborhood police department reacted, in the paragraphs below.

The incident was reported by Lakeland PD on their Facebook page on April 27, 2017, where it garnered a lot of interest.

Almost 600 people have shared the post and there have been nearly 2,000 reactions.
