Recent months have been difficult for the Presley family.

Family members were devastated by Lisa-unexpected Marie’s death, which came two years after the passing of her son Benjamin Keough.

Since then, rumors of conflict between Riley Keough, Lisa-daughter, Marie’s and her mother, Priscilla Presley, have abounded.

Riley, the iconic Elvis’ granddaughter, was therefore the center of attention as she arrived at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party on Sunday night in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.

The 33-year-old, who attended the March 13 event with her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, wore a floor-length, sequin gown and looked absolutely lovely as she posed for pictures.

A few hours earlier, Brendan Fraser won the Best Actor Oscar for his work in The Whale, defeating Austin Butler, who was nominated for his depiction of Riley’s grandfather.

Riley has praised Butler’s performance in the past, saying that she was ‘in tears for a week’ following the viewing of Baz Luhrmann’s biography.

Riley’s presence at the Oscars celebration was the subject of numerous comments, the bulk of which were complimentary.

One supporter joked on Twitter that Riley Keough was gold while the rest of the world was silver. One more said, ‘Riley Keough domination!’

Over two months later, the Presley family is still deeply divided by Lisa Marie’s passing. According to the Daily Mail,

Lisa Marie revised her will in 2016 and substituted her two children, Riley and Benjamin, for her mother as executor and heirs.

Riley was the only successor named in Lisa Marie’s will, which included the rights to the renowned Graceland

home and a 15% interest in Elvis Presley Enterprises, when Benjamin sadly committed suicide in 2020.

According to reports, Priscilla is currently contesting the aforementioned change because it fully excludes her.

Just this week, it was alleged that Priscilla had been ‘shut out’ of Graceland by her granddaughter, providing an astounding update to the continuing drama.

Riley allegedly went to the Memphis estate to ‘alter the locks on the upstairs doors and archives,’ according to RadarOnline.
