This woman was blamed for wearing a dress of that color and shape on her wedding day. Her response was simply wonderful

The first image that typically springs to mind when someone hears the word wedding is a woman wearing a white dress.

It is customary for women who will be present, including family members and guests, to wear attire that does not resemble a bridal gown.

Absolutely, and a white dress is part of that. After all, nobody wants to watch someone steal the bride’s thunder.

But have you ever heard of a bride choosing a vibrant gown rather than the conventional white dress?

Although it might seem unusual, it’s vital to keep in mind that the bride can choose to wear whatever she wants to for the wedding.

One woman, specifically, made the decision to wear a pink dress to her wedding. Regrettably, she was the

target of numerous hurtful remarks on the internet. Yet she didn’t let those unfavorable remarks ruin her wedding day.

A woman by the name of Camille Lescai posted a video on TikTok in November 2022 showing her revealing her wedding dress, which she had kept a secret from her family and friends until the big day.

The women in her life gasped when they saw her in her pink wedding gown. They seemed to be happy for her too. Lescai was aware that it had been ‘worth the wait.’

Because the color pink is a part of her identity, Lescai stated she wore it to her wedding. She fell in

love with an Aussie designer’s pink dress the moment she saw it on Instagram. So she spent $4,400 for a customized version.

In an interview with Insider, she stated, ‘I’m not a particularly traditional person, so while I understand

why people want to go for a more traditional wedding look, I don’t believe I would have felt like myself wearing anything else.

She continued, ‘My wedding day was amazing I had the best day and adored my outfit. I defied the standard by asking the rest of the bridal party and my guests to wear white.

Several complimented her for executing a novel idea and said the garment ‘looks lovely.’ Many ladies also defended her at the same time.

Do not pay attention to these haters. They simply can’t handle the originality. You appeared to be really stunning, one individual commented.

‘The critical remarks are making me… You appear gorgeous. Everyone has their own ideas for their wedding, according to someone else.

But when someone referred to Lescai’s clothing as ‘old fashioned toilet roll coverings,’she didn’t hold back.

She then addressed it in a new video. She read some of the remarks about her clothing in another video,

including that it was the ‘ugliest’ and that it looked ‘terrible.’ She was even referred to as ‘hideous’ and a ‘jiggly puff’ by some.

The best disinfectant can sometimes be sunlight, she said. ‘Being anonymous makes people think they

can skulk in the shadows, write nasty things to tear people down, and then just disappear,’ she said. She also offered some guidance to those who could be facing the same hostility as she did.

My advise to anyone encountering online hatred is to try not to take it personally and to remember that

the opinions of the people in your life—who will still love you regardless of what is written online—are what really matter.
