Deaf singer Ali won the blind auditions for ‘The Voice’ because, as he put it, ’I can feel the music.’ It’s a talent of mine… See the video…

I’ve been told my whole life, ‘You’re not going to be able to do the typical things that other people do,’

and I’ve taken that to imply that I won’t be successful at the things that other people find easy.

To demonstrate this, I plan to use phrases like, ’You know what? The 24-year-old soul-pop singer told the panel of judges, ‘You are in wrong.’

Since the day I was born, I’ve been told that I can’t take part in regular life the way other people can.

To demonstrate this, I plan to use phrases like, ‘You know what? You are completely mistaken. Despite your

disability, you can do everything you set your mind to, Ali, a 24-year-old soul-pop musician, declared boldly.

On Monday night, the third night of the blind auditions for The Voice Season 23 began, and Ali completely achieved her goal.

When Ali was a toddler and her musician father was playing one of his drums really loudly, she didn’t react and he realized that she had ‘severe hearing loss.’

The doctor found that Ali’s problem was congenital. When watching Ali’s dad and Carson Daly, host of The Voice,

have a talk, Ali’s mom commented, ‘That was very bad.’I’m sure a lot of other stuff crosses your mind as well,’ she remarked.

Unfortunately, all of Ali’s parents’ worries were unfounded. We worked around that, as Ali explained it:

‘My parents, they never really looked at it as though I was ‘broken.’’It was put to good use for us.

There will always be a particular place in my heart for music. I’m going to do it even if I have a lot of doubts about myself.

Even if I can’t hear all that’s going on, I can still get a good sense of the music’s meaning and the lyrical content just by feeling the beat.

She told the judges, ‘I have a hearing problem. I have two hearing aids that I use,’ before delivering a remarkable rendition of Roberta Flack’s

‘Killing Me Softly With His Song.’ My inability to hear began at birth. It’s a great privilege of mine to show you this. It’s understandable that they were caught off guard by it.

Laughing, Blake Shelton retorted, “What an absolutely wonderful performance the voice was! If you had

lined up all the singers that we’ve heard so far and then said, ‘Pick which one is hearing-impaired,’ you would probably be the last one that I would choose.’

‘That’s incredible. You guys are just jumping over obstacles, and it’s awesome to see.’— Niall Horan. ‘You have triumphed over every obstacle that life has thrown at you.’

Ali received the votes of two judges: Kelly Clarkson and Chance the Rapper. The rappers Kelly and Chance the Rapper both voted for Ali because of his ‘complex, fascinating, and odd’ runs.

That’s sweet of them, but it might be unsettling to hear a cover of a song you know so well if someone changes it in a way that feels unfamiliar.

A familiar tune can leave an indelible impression on your mind with just one listen. Still, the modifications

you made were very you. ‘I really need to turn around and find out who is singing this,’ I thought to myself.’

Despite Kelly’s effusive praise, I anticipated Ali would choose Chance because of his involvement with an ‘amazing institution’that stages ASL hip-hop performances

at national music festivals. Kelly gushed over Chance, praising his skill and authenticity. ‘I believe it is of the utmost significance and power,

and naturally you simply have an incredible voice; all of the decisions that you were making seemed like they came from the depths of your

soul.’ ’I made a lot of friends from the deaf and hard of hearing community [through Definitely Dope],

and I think it’s so dope if they could look ‘Please perform some gospel for me; I love that style of music.

Ali’s status as a gospel singer and admirer gave Chance a temporary boost, but she ultimately decided to support Kelly.

I just wanted to say how appreciative I am that Ali had the courage to take a ‘leap of faith’ and try out for The Voice.

‘I’m very excited to collaborate with someone who has a more nuanced understanding of music than I do. She is extremely brave and self-assured,

and I really want to delve into songs with her, Kelly said of the newest member of their group, and

I believe it’s going to be quite intriguing. ’I need to hear music for myself in order to appreciate it.’

Emotions were conveyed by a slew of Monday’s notable vocalists. Last night’s blind auditions were successful for the following people.
