The airport is used by people from all walks of life to enter and exit. It is the location where people find their estranged loved ones.

Several people begin their journeys to other nations in search of greener pastures from there as well.

Perhaps the happiest, saddest, and most memorable events of countless people worldwide were experienced in airports.

Not just the passengers, but also the personnel and the pilots, are included.

This pilot in particular just experienced one of the most amazing moments of his life when he met a well-known figure.

He is a renowned gospel performer.

During his stopover in Lynchburg, Virginia, Florida-born pilot David Bennett was simply going about his daily routine.

Then, as he continued on his journey, he noticed a familiar face among the crowd of people rushing into the atrium.

It was none other than the well-known American comedian, singer, composer, and clergyman.

Mark Lowry was there.

Together with Michael English, Guy Penrod, David Phelps, and Bill Gaither, Lowry co-wrote the song ‘Mary,

Did You Know?’ and was a member of the Gaither Vocal Band from 1988 to 2001 and from 2009 to 2013.

Mark Lowry has performed with some of the best musicians over the course of his more than 40 years in the business,

including Reba McEntire, Clay Aiken, Kenny Rogers, and Wynonna Judd.Lowry has released a total of twelve CDs, including music and comedy, since he began his career.

Bennett believed that abruptly joining Lowry’s career would be a smart idea.

When Lowry approached him, the pilot made the decision to sit and listen to him play a song on the airport piano in exchange for a favor.

To the pilot’s amazement, Lowry enthusiastically complied with the straightforward request.Bennett is a fan after all, so communicating with him solely through music would be fantastic.

The two men then sat down next to the airport piano, where Lowry began to record his fan playing.

The song ‘Simply A Closer Walk With Thee,’ whose lyrics were taken straight from the Bible, was scheduled to be played by the Florida pilot.

As soon as he began tapping on the piano keys in the airport, it was an unbelievable musical pleasure.

Mark was unable to contain his excitement after discovering Bennett’s potential.

Mark joined him in singing.

Then he inquired about Bennett’s professional playing history.

To Lowry’s amazement, the pilot revealed that he had previously performed for the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based barbershop acapella ensemble Sounds of Liberty.
