There is a lot of delight! Due to a disease, Sawyer Moreau was unable to hear sounds around him, including those of his family members.

It’s one thing to feel a mother’s love, but for his mother Christina Moreau, not knowing her voice must have been agonizing.

Sawyer miraculously qualified to receive a cochlear ear implant. a system that ‘receives sound from the environment,

analyses it, and transmits tiny electric currents close to the auditory nerve.The nerve is stimulated by these electric currents, and the nerve then signals the brain.

A little over four hours were spent doing the implant operation. His family wanted to document Sawyer hearing them for the first time after the successful surgery.

At the clinic, when his implant was gradually cranked up to hear the outside world, the occasion was caught on camera.

When Sawyer hears his mother say, ‘I love you,’ he smiles so broadly and starts to dance a little. He was experiencing an intense moment of joy, as seen by the look on his face.

His mother Christina remarked, ‘It was pure enchantment to know that he can finally hear his name and he can hear us sing to him and engage in the hearing world with us.

The mother of the boy commented, ‘Other than giving birth to children, this is the most emotional

moment of my life.’ The world’s luckiest mother, I declare. I am opposed. She is privileged, not lucky.
