Colombian pop star Shakira admitted that she learned about the betrayals of Spanish football player Gerard Pique from the media when her father was in the intensive care unit.

After 12 years of relationship, Shakira announced her separation from Pique in June last year. According to mass media, this happened because of Pike’s betrayals.

In November, Pique left the ‘Barcelona’ football club and ended his career. ‘I learned from the press that I was betrayed, and that was when my father was in the intensive care unit.

I thought I wouldn’t last. The person whom I loved the most in my life, my father, abandoned me when I needed him so much.

I couldn’t talk to him or ask my best friend for advice. His rehabilitation took a long time and was difficult,

but he is a wonderful person for all of us and surprises us with his strength. My father is the greatest example of strength,’ said Shakira.

Pique and Shakira were together since 2011, but they did not legalize their marriage. They have 2 children.
