Twenty years after making their first wedding vows together in kindergarten, a couple has finally tied the knot. How they found each other will give you goosebumps

Who knew that a careless confession made in kindergarten would lead to a wedding straight out of a fairy tale?

Matt Grodsky and Laura Scheel, both of Phoenix, Arizona, have been together since they were young, in the days when they were full of love and imagination as children.

Matt and Laura met more than two decades ago, when they were both students, according to their Instagram account.

According to Matt, the first time he recalled Laura was when he publicly announced to their class that he would eventually marry Laura.

They grew fonder of one another the more time they spent together, and that helped sustain their friendship over time.

In fact, Laura was the one who taught Matt even the most rudimentary skills, like how to swing, draw rolling hills, and eat string cheese properly.

Matt also recalls staying up late playing hide-and-seek with her friend, long after everyone else had gone to bed.

Eventually, though, kids would have to move on from preschool and start attending different elementary schools. But there are many surprising forms that love can take.

Even after everyone else had gone to bed, Matt and her friend would play hide-and-seek until the wee hours of the morning.

However, children will eventually need to transition from preschool to their designated elementary schools. However, love can manifest itself in a wide variety of unexpected ways.

Laura found Matt’s phone number by chance while looking through a friend’s address book. Someone who had known them both as freshmen tried to reintroduce them, but she declined.

To some extent, I was hesitant to ask him out on a date. ‘It was like we’d known each other for years

after he contacted me,’Laura remarked. ‘It was like we’d known each other for years after he contacted me,’ Laura remarked.

They chose to turn their relationship from casual to exclusive after only two weeks of dating.

Another difficulty for a young couple whose feelings were only beginning to emerge for one another was

the fact that they had to keep up a long-distance relationship because they went to colleges in different states.

But with dogged will, unwavering endurance, and unending love for one another, Laura and Matt made it

through their own college years. In May of 2015, the powerful couple hit a turning point in their carefully orchestrated romance.

After a while, he got down on one knee and popped the question. With greater solemnity, conviction, and an ocean of love, he did it.

He remarked, ‘Ever since I was a little boy, I’ve had a thing for Laura, and I still feel the same way about her now.’

Finally, Laura accepted, and in 2016, they wed in a ceremony that marked the beginning of their happily ever after.
