In a world where body art is a common form of self-expression, a controversial trend has emerged.
This tattoo artist tattoos children as young as 6 years old. The topic, of course, caused a heated debate and people were divided into two camps.
Artist Benjamin Lloyd has become widely known after he published a post where he makes a tattoo to a child.
The post garnered over 400,000 likes, and since then videos and photos of Lloyd airbrushing children
with tattoos have gone viral, racking up hundreds of thousands of views on his social media pages.
He has already visited Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland,
New Zealand, as well as IHC, which provides services for people with developmental delays. He raises funds online to continue helping people smile.
At first, many were indignant, because they thought it was forever. But in his post, he wrote: ‘This is an airbrush, the drawing will wash off.’ All the kids he tattooed were happy.
Benjamin does it because, in his words, ‘the kids love it that way.Once they get a tattoo, they feel more confident.’
It uses organic non-toxic ink, safe for children. The tattoo looks so realistic that people think it’s permanent.
Benjamin does this not because of likes and attention, but because he wants to give smiles to children.
Lloyd shares his talent with children. His work is good because it takes him only 9 minutes to complete one realistic tattoo using various stencils.
Since the ink is organic, the tattoo will wash off the soul field. He says, ‘The only bad thing is that the kids don’t want to shower afterwards.’
