A woman buys a 1966 GMC Commuter Greyhound bus and transforms it into a little home over the course of three years.

Jessie Lipskin, a 30-year-old inhabitant of New York City, desired a smaller home and a simpler lifestyle.

As more people go from living in McMansions to a more environmentally friendly way of life, more people are going with this alternative.

Additionally, if you reside in New York, you are aware of the high cost of real estate.

On eBay, Jessie discovered a 1966 GMC Commuter Greyhound bus, which she later turned into her tiny house.

She hired contractors and friends to help her turn an old bus into the cutest little house. She made a $125,000 investment to bring her concept to life.

On eBay, a vintage Greyhound bus is currently up for sale for roughly $50,000. Jessie chose this lovely home since it looked amazing and fit her lifestyle needs.

Three years are required to complete this remarkable change. When you see the new bus, you won’t be able to distinguish it from the previous one.

After learning more about Earthships, small homes, and other eco-friendly lifestyles, the change was quite easy to make.

When asked how she transitioned to the little house and a simpler life, Jessie replied, ‘I kind of just went all in.’

There were setbacks along the road, as there are with every renovation project. When Jessie bought the bus, she didn’t have a driver’s license,

but her friends helped her. It was sent to upstate New York by two of my pals, where I stayed for some time to work on and disassemble

it. Because I knew individuals there who might help me work on it, I moved it from there to New Jersey, she added.

Although it is a little home, it is outfitted with modern technologies. It has a burner, an oven, a big sink, and hardwood counters.

Additionally, it has a gas tank, a full washing machine, and a dryer. Hot water is also readily available.

A standing shower is found in the bathroom across from the kitchen. The lovely bedroom in the small house is Jessie’s favorite space.
