Children may be demanding, annoying, and sometimes overwhelming, as every parent is aware of and acknowledges.

Parents, though, would not trade their time with their kids for anything. They seem to have grown up overnight, moved out, and are prepared to manage their lives on their own.

In a video uploaded to TikTok, a man appears to be slowly realizing that one part of his life is coming to an end.

As the caption of the video notes, a father is seen in the clip watching as he drops off his daughter at college.

The man’s wife was the one who took the poignant and touching picture.

‘Caught my husband watching his life walk away from him after we dropped her off at college,’ she captioned the video.

Standing, the father looks into the distant. The father appeared to be on the point of tears throughout the majority of the 20-second clip.

But then a broad smile spreads across his face. According to Sunny Skyz, the father’s brief smile was caused by his daughter turning to face him.

Nevertheless, the man’s expression quickly returns to looking nearly in tears following the smile.

Even the most stern and emotionless people will drop a few tears when they witness the father’s tender expression of compassion, love, and care.

On TikTok, a lot of people commented on the priceless moment. ‘Hand him a tissue, please! No, hug him instead! I’m crying too, don’t worry,’ one individual wrote.

A second individual chimed in, ‘Aweeeee his ‘world’ is in a new place and he can’t bubble wrap her and keep her safe now.’

A third TikTok user wrote, ‘My daughter is only 10 months old and I’m already scared of this moment.’
