Similar to teachers, coaches can and often do have a significant impact on society. Men and women who serve as coaches have frequent or intermittent interactions with young people.

Their words, deeds, and lessons have an impact on a young person’s life that extends far beyond the field or court.

An excellent illustration of how much a coach can mean to their players can be seen in a TikTok video.

The coach is seen opening a gift from one of his players as he kneels on the ground to begin the brief 43-second film.

The coach reaches down inside the Avengers-themed bag and pulls out a cup with a heartfelt and incredibly accurate message written all over it.

The man reads from the cup and adds, ‘A good coach can change a game, but a great coach can change a life.’

However, that is not the only gift the coach ever gets. One young man also wanted his football coach

to read a letter he had written to him. But before it’s through, he’s filled with emotion and starts crying.

The young guy reads, ‘Dear Coach Richard, you have been the best coach of my life.’ Richard, I cherish you.

Please demonstrate your (incomprehensible) for me. You restored my love for football. I appreciate you being my preferred coach.

The kid is overtaken with emotion as he finishes his touching note. The coach embraces the boy with warmth and affection.

More should be included in coaching than just victories, losses, and tactics. They are educators who may utilize their game

to teach players valuable lessons and messages that will last a lifetime. Sadly, the majority of coaches overlook this aspect of coaching because they are so preoccupied with winning and losing.
