Hollywood’s wild child Woody Harrelson recently turned 62 and spoke up about his past, including the effect of his father, a real-life hitman.
The Cheers actor, who is renowned for both his on- and off-screen versatility, has championed PETA
(People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), supported the legalization of marijuana, and promoted wild conspiracy theories.
Nobody will ever forget his terrible drunken tryst with a fourth woman, a paparazzi, in 2002, which started as a trio but ended up becoming a quad.
His now-wife, with whom he had been dating for 15 years at the time, was promptly informed of his affair.
What Laura Louie, a Hawaiian native, did was exceptional; she chose to remain with him rather than part ways.

In the 2007 criminal thriller No Country for Old Men, Woody Harrelson, well known for playing the gregarious and bumbling Woody Boyd on the television sitcom Cheers, made an appearance.
In the movie, the sheriff remarks, ‘Here a while back in San Antonio they shot and killed a federal judge,’
alluding to Charles Voyde Harrelson, the actor’s father, who executed Judge John H. Wood Jr. in real life.
The older Harrelson, who had split from Woody’s mother Diane in 1964, was found guilty of murdering US district
judge John H. Wood Jr. in 1979. The 63-year-old judge’s murder was also connected to his second wife, Jo Ann.
Behind a succession of killings and an armed robbery in 1960, Harrelson’s father passed away from a heart attack in a maximum-security state prison in 2007 at the age of 68.
Born in 1961, Harrelson was only seven years old when his mother transferred him and his brother Brett to
Ohio after his father was sentenced to jail for the first time for the murder of a Texas grain dealer.
When his father was found guilty of killing the judge, he was a college student.
The multi-award-winning actor says he still abides by his father’s instruction to ‘’Keep an open mind.’’
His diverse talents allow him to perform in independent films for a dollar to large franchises.
‘All I’m asking is that you keep an open mind,’ he replied. That’s some really wise counsel coming from a father.
‘I think that philosophy has helped me at times to take another look and not shut down to things that I might otherwise have been shut off to,’ the speaker concluded.
‘I do feel she was a great influence on me and instilled a lot of good values,’ the Natural Born Killers actor said,
‘just the way you treat people, behaving honorably, which I don’t always do, but she was a great role model for that and still is.”
It should come as no surprise that the White Men Can’t Jump actor is drawn to powerful women; he once married one.
It was incredible from beginning to end, Harrelson said in an interview with Hollywood Reporter.
just the greatest individuals. And everyone watched, unlike many times when you make a movie and wonder if anyone will see it.
Since that show made me who I am in reality, I couldn’t have considered leaving. Before that show, I was anonymous and destitute.
I never believed in the concept of [marriage],’ the Zombieland star admitted, despite ‘having my head up my ass.’
I just never thought that what people do—long-term monogamy—made any sense. Relationships might also become quite proprietary.
Thus, before you know it, you find yourself in a cage—possibly a very nice one, but nevertheless a cage nonetheless—and are unable to live up to your potential.
Naturally, you can’t have sex with anybody else, but frequently, you also can’t be the same person you once were.
Simply put, I couldn’t sustain long-term partnerships. Whoever would have me, I was with. After that, I met my wife.
The pair wed in 2008 and had three children together. The husband says, ‘But, luckily, this life and my
family-my wife and my daughters [Deni, Zoe, and Makani] they kind of loved me into a better human being.’
The True Detective star calls the infamous night of infidelity the ‘worst night of my life” as she discusses it while filming Hunger Games and Solo: A Star Wars Story in London.
‘I went to this bar in London [in 2002], and these two girls approached me and asked, ‘So you want to take a walk on the wild side?’’
I responded, ‘I guess I do.’ Then another female who I didn’t even know climbed into the car as I did.
‘We went to my place, and one of the girls was a razzi [paparazzi] or worked for them, worked for the rags,’ the Now You See Me actress revealed.
She also invited a photographer outside. The other two girls were misled by that one female. I was disappointed when they all departed at once because I knew [an article] was going to happen.
The incident nearly devastated the lovely Louie, but she forgave him in the end, and as a token of his appreciation,
Harrelson turned into a dedicated husband and father to his three stunning daughters (born 1993, 1996, and 2006).
And Harrelson is frequently spotted at Hollywood events walking the red carpet with his family, completely dedicated.
While Harrelson spends his free time farming the land, Louie teaches yoga and sells health foods in an eco-village in Hawaii.
The actor continues, ‘I have the most incredible wife I could ever hope for. But did marriage make me feel better? Nothing, in my opinion, can ever make me feel better.
