Dogs in particular are incredibly tough creatures. They experience abuse or mistreatment, but they always recover,
acting only with love, trust, and kindness. If you treat a dog with some love and care, you’ll have a lifelong friend.
Bogart, a charming and fluffy America’s Got Talent contender, is the epitome of fortitude and perseverance.
Viewers were given some background information on Bogart prior to his audition for the show.
Bogart’s owner Heather spoke about how the sweet and loyal animal narrowly avoided being put down in a video that was uploaded to YouTube.
Bogart was about to be put to death at a kill shelter, Heather said. ‘And he was able to be saved by our rescue.
He never found a forever home, for some reason. After that, we brought him out the following night and the night after that. By the following Thursday, he was ours.
Bogart had a health problem even though he was thriving with his new owners, enjoying life, and performing well in obedience training.
Then, Heather continued, ‘we found a bump on his leg.’ And it turned out to be cancer. It surprised us.
We were referred to a doctor, and we determined that accepting the leg would improve our chances of survival.
Bogart struggled to adjust after his leg was amputated. He was down and dejected, and his owner, Heather, was unsure if he would survive.
But eventually Bogart made the decision that enough was enough. He was prepared to return to his obedience training.
After having a lengthy argument with the judges, Bogart gave a magnificent performance. He displayed
his talent and agility by navigating challenges with the agility and quickness of a canine on four legs.
Bogart received four unanimous yes votes from the judges as a result of his great performance!
