Glaucio Cristelo resembles a rock musician more than the usual pianist.He has become well-known for his distinctive piano playing due to his rock ‘n’ roll appearance, which includes curly hair, a goatee, and an amazing attire.
His performances at Barrashopping and Shopping Leblon brought him attention.He draws in both elderly women and teenagers with his playful addition of converting the stool into a swing as he plays the grand piano.
When Roberto Medina, the man behind Rock in Rio, saw him, he purchased his debut CD, ‘Piano Rock 1,’ which came out in 2009.
Because of his unique style, Glaucio was asked to play in the VIP area of the festival and at the official Rock in Rio 2011 premiere event, where he attracted the attention of notable attendees.
Glaucio is young, but he already has a long list of theatrical credits and TV appearances on shows like TV Xuxa, Jô Soares,
Altas Horas, and Estúdio i. Because of his affiliation with the clothes retailer Reserva, he also participates in fashion-related events.
On his CDs ‘Piano Rock 2’ and ‘Piano Rock 3,’ Glaucio expands on his rock sound by introducing the orchestra, drums, bass, and strings.
The audience finds it easy to sing along with the attractive songs. His music bravely tackles contemporary pop/rock tracks as well as vintage rock ‘n’ roll.
The Glaucio Cristelo, also known as “Piano Rock,” performed once more in what appeared to be a lounge or waiting room at a location known as the Piano Shopping Mall.
