The legendary actor John Travolta, who is best remembered for his dancing performances in movies like Saturday Night Fever and Grease,
made news lately for a dance performance at the Sanremo Music Festival in Italy. Travolta was requested to perform some of his most well-known dance routines,
such as the ‘You Never Can Tell’ scene from Pulp Fiction, during a special guest visit. In addition, he performed the ‘Il Ballo Del Qua Qua,’ also referred to as the chicken dance,
alongside a troupe of dancers donning enormous yellow duck costumes while dancing to ‘Saturday Night Fever’ by the Bee Gees.
Viewers and social media users were left perplexed by the peculiar performance, with many asking why John Travolta was performing the duck dance live on television.
Travolta reportedly refused to allow Italian state TV to air more footage of him doing the dance, despite the original extravaganza.
The actor has refrained from making public comments regarding the situation, but the duck dance has vanished from RAI’s social media and television platforms.
According to the co-presenter, Travolta approved of everything that occurred during the event and was aware of it all.
