One Chicago runner named Sarah was taking part in a marathon and was getting close to the finish line when she saw something unusual.

In an interview with The Kelly Clarkson Show, she describes how and why she came to the aid of a needy cat.

Sarah recalled, ‘I was at mile 20, I was focused on my race, and I remembered running into this tunnel.’ ‘I realize that I still have six miles to go.

I’m able to go there. As I move to the left, I notice a small, fluffy cat that appears scared amid a heap of leaves.

I recall that I grabbed this tiny baby in an instantous decision at that precise moment. However, Sarah did more than that to assist the cat.

She asked onlookers who wanted the cat as she strolled around the racetrack. After locating Andrea, a bystander on the race course, she took the cat away from Sarah.

Andrea claimed that she made the decision to take the cat in an instant as well. Andrea and her family have given the cat, who is now going by the name Casper, a loving home.

What a wonderful demonstration of compassion and consideration for one of God’s creatures from two women.

Sarah might have easily run by the cat and continued on her way. Furthermore, Andrea had the option

to remain silent and ignore the animal. However, none of them did, and as a result of their generosity, a cat now has a home.
