American actor Jerry Lewis is most recognized for his slapstick humor and comedies. He formed the wonderful comedic combo Martin and Lewis with Dean Martin.

In addition to using his notoriety to advocate for awareness of muscular dystrophy, he is well-liked

and has received recognition for his comedic contributions. One of his most impressive on-camera moments is shown in the video that follows.

This clip is taken from the 1954 film ‘Living It Up.’ Lewis is shown executing a beautiful Jitterbug dance. Dean Martin, his companion, was also in the film.

It’s incredible how successfully he’s been able to pull off some technically difficult movements without appearing ridiculous. This truly brings back memories of bygone eras of film, doesn’t it?
