Baby Reacts Emotionally To ‘Sesame Street’ Singing by Andrea Bocelli and Elmo…Video

Music has an emotional impact, whether you’re singing along to rock and roll in the car or listening to hip-hop to assist your heart rate rise while working out.

Particularly well-known for provoking strong emotions is classical music. Research has demonstrated the

stress-relieving and brain-boosting effects of classical music listening. It’s so hard to remain emotionless when listening to a stunning aria!

One very cute little boy named Abriel experiences an emotional roller coaster that spreads across his lovely little face when his favorite Muppet character is combined with classical music.

One evening, while getting Abriel ready for bed, Abriel’s mother Anna Feldman noted his response to the music.

The two were watching a ‘Sesame Street’ episode in which Elmo is lulled to sleep by renowned opera singer Andrea Bocelli.

In order to give us a close-up view of Abriel’s quick transition from joy to grief to happiness again, Anna quickly seized her camera and aimed it directly at his face.

As the baby watches the tragedy unfold on TV, his large, chocolate-brown eyes are profound wells of emotion. Abriel always has the sweetest smiles we’ve ever seen when he hears Elmo’s voice!

However, Andrea’s attitude quickly changes to one of worry as he starts singing the opening lyrics of the beloved song, “Time To Say Goodnight.” His eyes well up with tears, and his small lip quivers.

It’s obvious that this child has a very high level of empathy. Even the sound of a lovely music affects him profoundly. Just think of how endearing this young man will become as he gets older!

Check out Abriel’s endearing response to the song in the video below, and don’t forget to forward it to other music enthusiasts you know.
