27 years ago, Michael Flatley gave his final performance in Riverdance, leaving millions in tears.

Since its 1994 live theatrical debut in Dublin, Riverdance has gained international recognition for its traditional Irish music and dance.

Millions of people have watched it internationally and it has been shown at 450 locations.

Thanks mostly to the outstanding choreography of Michael Flatley, the dance show became one of the most renowned in the world.

As its first choreographer, Michael brought a contemporary and inventive touch to the ancient Irish folk art of dancing.

The end product was an incredible feat of grace, dexterity, and intensity that had never been witnessed before.

After Riverdance achieved great popularity, the producers and Flatley parted ways in 1995 because to budgetary issues and artistic disagreements.

The Riverdance ‘The Final Performance’ can be seen in the video below. Colin Dunne, a nine-time World Irish Dancing Champion, took Flatley’s place after that.

Without a doubt, this is one of the most breathtaking performances ever! Check out the incredible performance here, and then tell us what you think by posting a Facebook comment!
