This man lost Georgy, his beloved dog, three years ago. Though in vain, George Beresiani never gave up trying to find the dog.

He once came into Georgy, who was resting by the side of the road looking dejected, while strolling down the street.

The man hurried over to the dog to record its response on camera. It appears that Georgy took some time to understand he wasn’t dreaming.

Georgy was not a highly-priced purebred dog. Dozens of these common half-breeds dart through the entrances. However, George raised the dog since he was a puppy and thought he was unique.

At the time, the tale of the missing Georgy was well-known across Tbilisi. George had a deep affection for the dog.

He made a poster, traveled to locations with plenty of people, and hung the dog’s pictures all around the city.

Numerous individuals contacted him, claiming to have seen a dog resembling Georgy, but it wasn’t him.

The man answered all of the calls and never gave up. He had heard that a black-and-white dog that looked just like the one in the pictures slept on Shota Rustaveli Avenue all the time.

Beresiani rushed to the location, but at one end of the avenue, he was unable to locate the dog. The man made the unfortunate decision to return home,

and as he was walking down the street a few blocks later, he saw a dejected dog curled up behind a tree. The pet’s name was called by George, who recognized him right away.
