A man on the verge of marriage was getting not just a wife but also a stepson. The man, Eldridge Buchannan,

is seen speaking to 7-year-old Kayden in a YouTube video. He addresses the young man personally and makes a number of pledges and vows.

With tears in his eyes, Eldridge declares, ‘So, I vow to you from this day forward that I’m going to love you,

I’m going to teach you, I’m going to guide you, and I’m going to pour into you because you are a king.’ ‘And you, my monarch.’

Eldridge also pledged to Kayden that he would demonstrate to him what ‘it looks like for a man to love a woman,’ what it takes to be a leader, and what an honest person looks like.

Eldridge claimed that a last-minute choice led to that heartfelt encounter. Just a few minutes before Kayden was about to head to the altar, he claims he made the decision to speak with him.

Eldridge further claims that he had numerous conversations and discussions with young Kayden throughout the ride to school.

Eldridge remarked, ‘You know, we have a lot of talks about leadership and about integrity and respect and things of that kind on the way to school every morning.’

It is clear that Eldridge genuinely cares about Kayden and is prepared to invest the time, energy, and attention necessary to impart to a young child the values of a man.
