Oscars 2024: Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer wins seven Oscars
Christopher Nolan’s biopic Oppenheimer won an Oscar at the 96th Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles. It won seven awards, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor for Cillian Murphy.
Ukrainian director Mstislav Chernov’s film ‘20 days in Mariupol’ was also awarded the ‘Oscar’ for
‘Best full-length documentary film’. It tells the story of the siege of Mariupol by Russian troops in 2022.
This is the first ‘Oscar’ in history, which is awarded to the authors of Ukrainian films.
