Evelyn was married in the 1960s, had two children, and is currently the proud mother of six grandkids and six great-grandchildren.
Evelyn liked to sing to her children as they grew up, filling their home with melody. Evelyn was therefore encouraged
to pursue her goal when it came time for her to try out for Ireland’s Got Talent by her children and grandchildren.
Her spouse has always been Evelyn’s biggest admirer! Although he sadly died away about seven years ago, she believed that he was supporting her from heaven.
The judges were instantly enamored with this adorable grandmother’s enormous grin as soon as she took the stage.You find yourself rooting for her because of her contagious optimism and optimism.
Evelyn selected ‘Send in the Clowns,’ a beloved song by Stephen Sondheim from the musical A Little Night Music, for her audition.
The song is genuinely only meant to be sung and understood by someone who has experienced both joy and sorrow throughout their long life and has gained the wisdom that comes with it.
Evelyn had barely uttered two sentences when I became engrossed. It appears that I wasn’t by myself. You could hear a pin drop among the judges and spectators.
Her amazing voice and captivating tale transport you in a very special way! The crown was standing as soon as she was done. Evelyn was so moved by the applause that she could barely bear to process it all.
She was sent straight to the semi-finals by one of the judges hitting the Golden Buzzer, just when she felt it couldn’t get any better.
